I found an old post that suggested doing:
defaults write com.apple.InterfaceBuilder VersionControlDirectory
"(CVS, .svn)"
to make IB deal correctly with .svn directories in .nib directories.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for me (OS X 10.3.2, IB 2.4). NIBs still
open as read-only.
Anybody got a clever workaround for this? Manually moving and
re-instating the .svn directory every time I want to edit a NIB is a
big pain.
I'm not using subversion, but on my machine, that info is in the
release notes for IB 2.4.1 (*). IIRC, 2.4.1 was part of the full Xcode
1.1 CD, but not part of the Software Update delivered update.
(*)In fact, it says that CVS and .svn should be treated that way be
default.
