Still cannot reproduce the lose of selection (it may be specific to a
given size of the open dialog?)...
Me thinks that you are expanding the folder when you select it and
hence column width are changing such that a horizontal scroll bar pops
up that is hiding the selected row. I can cause this to happen and the
selection is maintained you just have to scroll down to see it. ??
