Hi Bob,

did you set the library type in the target options?

I did not build any dylib as a project, so I don't know that there is such an option in the project setting or not.

Regards,
Michael

Hi,

I'm trying to build a .dylib file with Xcode, but all I can seem to get it to generate is a .a file. I tried setting the Library Style to "Dynamic" in the project settings, but this seemed to have no effect. Can someone please tell me how to do this?

I'm using Xcode 1.1 on OS X 10.3.

Thanks,
Bob
