Deleting targets freaks Xcode

List,

I have a simple Cocoa project that I upgraded to native target. Now I have two targets in my project. How can I get rid of the old one? When I single click the target the do a command-x I get a nice warning telling me that deleting a target cannot be undone. I accept and then XCode freaks out with an internal error with options to quit or to continue. Continuing however simply means continuing with freaking. So my question is: how can I get rid of that old target?

Thanks
