shark fails to launch from Xcode

Hi all,
Not sure if there is a better place to ask this so...

When I launch shark from Xcode for my terminal application, shark never
gets started.  All I get is the bouncing icon on the doc, then it quits.

I've attached the thread viewer to the shark process and it is running,
but after a few minutes it gives up.  My app never gets started...

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this?
