Hi,
I am asking this here for want of a better place.
In MacOS X releases prior to Panther (10.3), it was possible to define
the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable in
~/.MacOSX/environment.plist. This no longer works in Panther.
We have been using this to set up paths to oracle libraries so that we
can access the Oracle JDBC OCI drivers (which use JNI) from
applications such as "SQL4X Manager J". It was also handy when running
JBoss (our j2ee app uses Oracle too) from within Eclipse for example.
Does anyone know why this has stopped working and is there a solution?
Thanks,
Steve Coy
