XCode doesn't seem to know when build stops

  • Subject: XCode doesn't seem to know when build stops

I'm having a recurring problem today -- I start a build, I get an error somewhere, I fix the error, and the build buttons are still inactive. I have to close and open the project to get them back.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix? Workaround (other than never make an error)?
