FYI: Xcode "Find In Project" Regular Expression syntax

  • Subject: FYI: Xcode "Find In Project" Regular Expression syntax

At WWDC, Scott Tooker told us that the regular expression syntax in Xcode's Find In Project is based on ICU's regular expression format.

Documentation for ICU's regular expression package is available at:
    <http://oss.software.ibm.com/icu/userguide/regexp.html>

Scott also mentioned that he doesn't know what variant the SmartGroups use. Hopefully it will be the ICU variant by Xcode 1.5.

Hope this helps some of you out.
