viewing global vars in the debugger

  • Subject: viewing global vars in the debugger

I have some c-style global variables that aren't showing up in the debugger window. How do I view them?
How do I make certain that '-g' ie debug symbols are enabled?

In case you're wondering, I _can see other variables.

Thanks,

Markian
