Is anyone familiar with the 'VooDoo' SCC product from UniSoftwarePlus which was integrated into CodeWarrior? The more I read about the trevails of getting CVS and Subversion to run with XCode, the more I wish the XCode team at Apple would allow a simple, easy, Mac-like process to incorporate SCC into projects, as per the VooDoo model. My wish is for my hours to go toward development as opposed to being devoted to building, installing and figuring out how to tweak the SCC engines into submission.

REMEMBER: Apple development is (rightly-so) 'bug-driven'
BugReporter Bug #3483102 'XCode Needs to publish SCC Plug-In API' was submitted 11-13-2003. The point being that, the API required to incorporate the VooDoo plug-in has long been available and what remains is for Apple to make available the hooks in XCode so it's possible for them to play together.

If anyone remembers VooDoo on CW and would like for it to be made available as yet another choice for SCC in XCode, to please file a bug/feature/enhancement request at <http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/index.html>
One last point - There's a 'VooDoo Server' product that provides group-level SCC support. Lest this note become a sales pitch, here's a link for interested persons: <http://www.unisoftwareplus.com/products/voodooserver/features.html> (BTW - I have nothing to do with this company - am just a fan of the product)

Thanks!

Lance Drake
