It's not useful if you just use cmd-~, but alternating with
cmd-shift-~ lets you toggle between just two windows, so it's actually
a little more useful -- like tabbing and shift-tabbing through fields
in a web browser. A shortcut for switching between multiple editors in
one window would be nice to have though. That's the big reason I don't
use them.
FWIW, to switch between multiple editors in one window I just use the
"previous" and "next" functionality. (cmd-option left and right arrow
respectively).
Actually, what I'd really like to see is a version of expose setup
like OmniWeb's tabs, laid out in a grid, with a single letter or
number associated with each window so you can select them quickly via
keyboard.
Sorta like the tabs in the Get Info window in Interface builder (where
"size" is ingrained in my brain as cmd-3 and custom class is cmd-6).
