I must be feeling grumpy tonight. Here's a couple more complaints about
the XCode user interface.
After performing a 'Find in Project', the results window default layout
has two columns. They default to equal width, but I want to make the
left column (actual result) much wider than the right column (the file
name containing the result). I can drag the divider across, but if I
close and re-open the project, XCode has forgotten my window settings,
and I have to drag it again. Not very polished.
Another rough edge is the following. I scan down the results from my
'Find in Project', and see the place I want to go to. Why can't I use
the keyboard to get there. I can move the selection with the up and
down arrow keys, but that's just a tease. I still have to move the
mouse and double-click on the result I'm interested in. Why can't I
select it with the arrow keys then press return, or Cmd-down arrow?
John.
