Run "sample" from the command line on Xcode while it has problems. If
you can find anything suspicious, don't forget to create cases with
RadarWeb!
One thing you might try to avoid is to have a lot of files open. Use
the View > Clear File History menu item to quickly remove open files.
It seems that every time you move the cursor, Xcode tries to ensure
that all files in your file pop up button exist by looking in your
source directory. This is especially problematic if your sources are
located on a network volume.
In our organization we have a lot of performance problems with Xcode,
but our project is HUGE, so - besides filing bug reports - we usually
just assume that Xcode isn't intended for / hasn't been tested with
really large projects.
