I did not recently add a target; I did recently copy the project file into a new, nearly empty directory (most of its source files live in other directories anyway).
There is a file "KeyClient-Info.plist" (which exists and is found in the original dir, NOT the new dir containing the new copy of the project) in the files list, rather than "Info.plist".
When I copied that file to Info.plist in the current project directory it fixed it.
