Start with making sure that you can access CVS by using the command
line tools. You can follow this guide:
<http://developer.apple.com/internet/opensource/cvsoverview.html>
Once you've setup so that you can work with CVS in the Terminal without
having to enter passwords (that's what SSHKeychain is for) you should
be all set to use CVS in Xcode.
If you launch Xcode from the project checked out from CVS and enable
CVS in the project inspector, things should mostly work all by
themselves.
There is also a lot of info on this topic in the list archives if you
care to take a look (not that it's particularly easy to search Apple's
list archives...). You can also search for "Xcode CVS" in Google.
