MallocDebug error - getUnreferencedData [19780]

Hi,

I'm using the latest released MallocDebug tool (from Xcode 1.2 release) on our application and got an error which didn't cause MallocDebug to crash but rather resulted in no data being displayed.

The details:

1) Extensively exercised our app (launched of course from MallocDebug)
2) Selected show leaks
3) Waited for about 5 minutes (while the pizza ball spinned - Dual 1 GHz, 1 GB RAM)
4) No data is displayed at all (in fact, the display area is cleared)
5) Checked the Console log and found this error

	2004-06-28 10:49:50.249 MallocDebug[19780] getUnreferencedData error

Note that when I don't exercise the app extensively (just start it up for example), and select show leaks, I do get memory allocation data in the display so I know that something is amiss in MallocDebug. Has anybody else seen this (or...Apple, can you provide an explanation/workaround)?

Thanks!

Alin Pilkington
