At this point, it would probably be best to file a bug at
<http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter>. Please include the project
file where you're seeing this (both the project.pbxproj and the
serverin.pbxuser files), and you preferences file
(~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Xcode.plist). It's certainly not
obvious what's going on here.

No, I'm not deleting severin.pbxuser from the project wrapper and
indexing is turned on in my global prefs. It works for tool projects
but Xcode forgets this setting in case of BSD library projects.

The setting is stored in the .pbxuser file inside the .xcode project
wrapper. Are you deleting that? If you need to delete that, you can
change your global prefs to turn indexing on.

Hi,
I have an annoying problem that indexing of any BSD library (static
oder dylib) project is being turned off if I quit Xcode and
relaunch the project. I switch it on in project's info pane in the
code sense tab again and again but if I quit the Xcode, relaunch it
and load the project then it is off. Is it a bug or a feature? Can
anybody else confirm this?
For me the behaviour different, though much easier to describe: Only
the first loaded project in Xcode is indexed. All the following are not
indexed. Independant of any project type and individual project.
