Really dumb new target problem

I'm trying to make a new Cocoa Bundle target in my existing xcode
(from project builder) project. All my existing targets are legacy
targets.
I choose New Target from the Project menu. Choose Cocoa Loadable
Bundle. Choose New File from the File menu. Make a new file
MenuCategory.m and choose my new cocoa bundle target as the target. I
then type random junk in the files. Compile. No errors. No nothing.
All I have in my build directory are two files:
MenuIsEqualCat.hmap
Info.plist
I'm obviously doing something horrible wrong. But since I've never
used Native Targets before, I have no idea what.
