They UI isn't very clear, but the cross-out means that the setting is being
overridden at a higher level, not "no longer available." In this case, if
the cross-out is in the target settings, it means the setting is being set
in the current build style (accessible through the project settings), so you
need to either remove it there to edit it in the target settings, or change
it in the build style.
