Thanks, it worked. I will now be able to start working on this project.
I had previously tried to disable the "Enable Indexing" in the
Navigation pane of the Preferences dialog.
I guess this is yet another problem of the Xcode strange philosophy:
have the same information in multiple locations and not doing the same
thing.
I will file a bug report on this because it's really not clear.

floats. And indexing these headers is locking Xcode down during the
