Debugger ignore all breakpoints

Has anybody else had a Coca application project for which the debugger
ignored *all* breakpoints, even a breakpoint placed in the main()
routine of main.m? Does anybody know of something I could try to fix
it?
There are other strange things going on with this project, too, but I'm
guessing that this problem may be at the root of them.
