PHP project with xCode and CVS?

  • Subject: PHP project with xCode and CVS?

I'd like to use xCode to manage a PHP webapplication, which is version controlled (CVS). The project directory contains several subdirectories which again may contain subdirectoroies.
I've set up the empty project, checked and committed it into CVS, check it all out, then created a project with xCode (the on-line help says the files must have already been checked into CVS for xCode to pick up the source code management).
I've dragged all folders and subfolders into the project (adding groups, so I can work on files separately). But how do I use CVS?
The documentation only explains things concerning programs, applets, etc, but not how to just manage a bunch of files with CVS within xCode. As I understand the 'Help' in xCode, xCode should pick up the information on CVS automatically. The folders do contain the appropriate CVS information and the files have been checked out. However, there are no files listed in the SCM group.

Is ther any good documentation on xcode around, somthing which explains all the details?
