I've just tried to install xcode on a vanilla 10.3.3 system, and it
fails every time. I first tried from the Xcode 1.0 CD, but it failed
early on in the install giving me no real information in the log. I
assumed that the 10.3.3 update broke something, so I downloaded the
Xcode 1.1 segments at massive time expensive.
And it has just failed to install too. It got much further in the
process, but then gave a similar information-free error message too. As
per previous messages in the archive on this topic, I made sure there
were no traces of a former /Developer/ install anywhere and it has
happened with two different sets of installer, so that rules that out.
Any ideas?
