External executable not launching.

I'm writing an Interface Builder palette and wanted to set Interface
Builder to be the executable to launch when running / debugging my
palette. AFAIK I should be able to simply create a new custom
executable for the project and set the path to IB. Unfortunately this
doesn't work, as the system log snippet below shows. What am I doing
wrong?
