CVS and Xcode

  • Subject: CVS and Xcode

Tried again.

Created a project.

Enabled SCM (using CVS), the ckeckbox stays checked and when I refresh the CVS information, I get a panel listing the host, path and user (all ok) and requesting a password. I enter the password and it is rejected (works fine on the command line!).

---> something fishy here! Shouln't it accept the password?

Imported ALL (entier project) to cvs, moved the origianal directory, checked all out into a new directory (with same name as the original). Again, the check box with the SCM enabled just keeps disappearing. No chance to update the SCM info (it no longer asks for a password!)

I get the following CVS errors:

/usr/bin/cvs status project.pbxproj
Permission denied, please try again.
Permission denied, please try again.
Permission denied (publickey,password).
cvs [status aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

Not astonishing. How can I get XCode to re-ask for the password? I don't really want to use the password-less mode.

And yes, I agree, there must be something small I'm missing!

Robert
