Remote execution

Hi,

I'm new to this list, so I hope this is not something that has been discussed a thousand times before...

I'm making command-line apps in XCode on a PowerBook G4, and using distributed building with a dual processor G5 over a wireless network. This works very well for me.

Now I want do do something more: I want to execute the app on the G5.

I can of course build the app and then execute it on the G5 using ssh in the terminal. But it would be nice if XCode could do this automatically, displaying the results in the output window etc.

I've taken a look in the Executable settings, and it has some "launch configuration" options that seem to be what I'm looking for. I see things like "Location: Local host" there, but I cannot select any other host.

I've tried looking through the documentation but searches for "Launch Configuration" turn up with little useful.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Do I have to configure something on the G5 to make it show up in the hosts list on the PowerBook? Or any other settings?

Thanks

Michel Colman
