Yes, I've seen it several times. I have not been able to provide a reproducible case, so I have not filed a bug report yet (at least I don't think I did).

It's IMO not uncommon that Xcode becomes really confused with regards to mouse events. Most of the time I think it's because it's main thread is choked for such long periods of time that they are either dropped, or somehow ends up out of sync - but that's really just a wild guess.

I can usually solve an issue like this one by switching to some other application and back again.

has anyone else noticed this issue in xcode where you switch to xcode from another app, and all of a sudden your mouse clicks don't seem to work? If you keep at it for a while, you'll discover that your pointer has become removed from where the clicks actually occur! Thus, I have to be a 5 or 6 cm away from my 'target'. More, the Build button in the tool bar often flickers when you click in this state. However, the menubar seems unaffected. The fix seems to be either moving the window or using the menu bar (I'm not sure which did it). I've seen this behaviour repeatedly, but I can't reproduce it at will, so I haven't filed a bug. Anyone else?
