The problem that caused the mis-configuration of the doc window is
fixed in Xcode 1.5. If you are running Xcode 1.2, the easiest way to
fix the problem is to delete the defaults that have bogus values.
In a Terminal window, execute these commands:
> defaults delete com.apple.Xcode PBXHelpWindowContentConfiguration
> defaults delete com.apple.Xcode PBXHelpWindowGeometry
This will return the doc window to its 'factory preset' values for
size, placement, splitview settings, etc.
Sorry for the inconvenience,

I am not sure how this happened but the first column in my Xcode

Documentation window got resized to a little unreadable strip and I
can't
make it resize.
All of the columns in the documentation window display a "column
resizing"
cursor - except for the first column - hence it can not be resized.
I've attached a small .gif image that shows the problem - I hope the
list
does not remove the attachment.
I have examined the com.apple.Xcode.plist for something obvious but
can't
see anything in there that refers explicitly to column sizes.
Is there some way I can force this column to expand?
