Nib file format preferences in Xcode and IB

  • Subject: Nib file format preferences in Xcode and IB

Hi folks,

I have my IB preferences set to "New Nib file format: 10.2 and
later". If I create a new project in IB, the defaults are used
correctly and the nib file saved with KVC. However, if I create a new
project in Xcode, then open and edit the nib file in IB, and save it,
the pre-10.2 format is used by default.
(This is XCode 1.5 and IB 2.4.2, on 7M34.)

Is this the intended behaviour? If so, is there a way I can tell Xcode
to use KVC for the nib files it creates?

Cheers, kyrah
