too true. Fact of the matter is, while I don't understand everything cvs can do on the command line, I know half a dozen commands, and using them is always hassle-free. I know that xcode, bbedit, etc, support CVS and so on, but typing cvs update and cvs commit a couple times a day is much more reliable. I know and can see exactly what happened, precisely what is going on.
