mode1 troubles

I have discoved a way to get around some Xcode problems. In the .xcode application bundle there is a file called <user>.mode1. Simple dragging this file to the trash will cause many troubles to disappear. For example, I was creating a new project about once a week because the compiler would start recompiling everything all the time and/or the debugger windows would get out of sync with scrolling and not display information properly. Throwing away the .mode1 fixes both these problems immediately.
