Xcode Internal Error after Java 1.4.2 Update 2

  • Subject: Xcode Internal Error after Java 1.4.2 Update 2

Here's the error message I get after opening a project, or creating a new one:

Internal Error

File: /SourceCache/DevToolsBase/DevToolsBase-387/XcodeFoundation/Specifications/XCSpecification.m
Line:
615
Object:
<PBXFileType:0x005f70d0>
Method:
initAsMissingSpecificationProxyWithIdentifier:name:description:

name should be a string, but it is nil

----

It gives me the option to Continue or Quit. If I Continue, I just keep getting additional, similar messages. Eventually, they stop coming and Xcode is unresponsive, while using up 100% of my processor. I have to Force Quit to kill it.

My machine hasn't crashed recently; everything is in order.

I'm going to reinstall Xcode; is there something else I should try?

Regards,

Eric Ocean
