Apple distcc protocol extensions

  • Subject: Apple distcc protocol extensions

I'm trying to use some software that works in conjunction with distcc. However, it appears that Apple has added some new atoms (packets, tags, whatever) to the protocol. In particular, there is a PULL command that it looks like was added for precompiled headers. Is there any documentation on the Apple extensions to the distcc protocol?

"Before you begin a thing, remind yourself that difficulties and delays quite impossible to foresee are ahead. If you could see them clearly, naturally you could do a great deal to get rid of them but you can't. You can only see one thing clearly and that is your goal. Form a mental vision of that and cling to it through thick and thin."
