Thanks Nick. Installing version 1.5 did the trick. Works like a champ
now!
I am curious why the version 1.1 install did not work, but what the
heck, I've got bigger fish to fry.

Yes; try installing a newer version of Xcode. Version 1.5 is the
latest version; version 1.2 ought to work as well.
