In Xcode 1.5, the API search feature was sometimes thwarted by bogus
markup that the indexer gathered from the documentation. A bogus
entry could effectively hide a number of good entries that followed
it alphabetically. The fix was to:
1) guard against faulty markup in the documentation
2) have the indexer reject any markup that was clearly bogus
No need to file a bug. The fix is in place, but not yet available in
a public release--but hopefully soon...
Sorry for the inconvenience,
- Matt

If I type "tr" in the API reference field of the documentation

yes. Though not this case specifically, I've often had xcode's find
"feature" fail to find painfully obvious things like this.
