Where does "version" come from?

Where does the Finder get its "version" string when doing a Get Info?

It doesn't match either of the
<key>CFBundleGetInfoString</key>
or
<key>CFBundleShortVersionString</key>

key values that I've set. This is for a bundled 10.3.8 XCode 1.5 built app. I've deleted the "build" folder and completely rebuilt the app, so (I assume) that the Finder shouldn't be grabbing any old info…
