Setting color of mouse pointer in Xcode 1.5

I like using a black background in Xcode (years of emacs have done this to me) and the default dark gray color of the mouse pointer is very hard to see in editor windows.

While it is possible to change the color of the insertion point, there is no setting for the mouse pointer. Anyone know of a hack that could be used to set the color of the mouse pointer?

I should probably file a feature request - wonder if there are any fundamental reasons why this would be difficult to implement?
