After upgrading to 10.3.9 my (pure Java) code files won't compile. In Xcode's Build window, I get:
<x-tad-smaller>/bin/sh: line 4: 865 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/javac -J-Xms64m -J-XX:NewSize=4M -J-Dfile.encoding=UTF8 -g -encoding MACINTOSH -sourcepath /Users/morris/Code/SIL_Kin/. -classpath "$classpath" -d "/Users/morris/Code/SIL_Kin/build/SIL_Kin.build/SIL_Kin.build/JavaClasses" '@/Users/morris/Code/SIL_Kin/build/SIL_Kin.build/SIL_Kin.build/JavaFileList'
</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>...failed JavaCompile.default <CompileJava>SIL_Kin.app ...</x-tad-smaller>
In Terminal I just get "Segmentation fault"
There are no changes to the code. Furthermore, if I upload the code to school and try to compile on a Sun, I get no Segmentation fault. It seems pretty clear that SOMETHING changed in 10.3.9 that I need to deal with. I have no clue what it is. I looked on ADC and Apple.com/support for any dialogues relating to this, and found none. Being a dumb grad student, I'm pretty well stymied.
What can I do? (Is it possible to revert to 10.3.8 without re-building my complete disk?)
Will send reasonable fee to a helpful advisor who tolerates newbies.
