So in short:
1. How do I add add new compilers to the XCode build path in the most
simple and natural way?
2. Why does the environment variables that worked in 2.0 fail so
miserably in 2.1?

Ok, I have googled allot during the night :). What I should be looking
at is supposedly creating a gdc.pgcompspec file in /Library/Application
Support/Apple/Developer Tools/Specifications/
Unfortunately google gives only six matches on pbcompspec, and the
developer pages at apple.com yields none. Spotlight can not find any
such files on my harddrive either.
So actually going around to create such a file is not an easy task by
guessing :).
The compilers I want to use are gdc (From
http://home.earthlink.net/~dvdfrdmn/d/) and fpc (From
http://www.freepascal.org). Gdc being a gcc frontend and all behaves
almost identical to gcc, so having a .pgcomspec for gcc to modify would
be great. Fpc is a slighly different beast, but close enough I think.
