Didn't get any response at all on this one, figured I'd repost:
----
I've got some files that I'd like to install in the "Application
Support" folder when my program first runs, so I've added an
"Application Support" folder in my Carbon app bundle, added a build
phase called "Copy to app support" to the target, and dragged one of
the files I want to work with to that phase folder.
When I build the application, it creates a file there, in the correct
place, but the file is empty (zero k.) I tried putting a different
file in that phase (a jpg) and it copied it correctly, so I guess
that I'm setting up something wrong for this particular file, which
has the extension .tax (if that matters.) I have read/write access
to the file in its source directory.
Just to clarify this muddled situation, this regards Xcode BUILDING
the application, it has nothing to do with actually running it (and
copying the file to the Application Support folder on the user's drive.)
Any ideas? Thanks!
