Xcode 2.1 Proj's Show Up As Folders

Title: Xcode 2.1 Proj's Show Up As Folders
All of my XCode 2.1 '.xcodeproj ' projects are showing up as regular folders instead of XCode project files. Any idea how I can fix this?

I am running 10.4.2 on an iMac G5 2GHz.
