Not that it matters much since its dead now, but i used CW for windows religiously up until its demise. Its lib's, dll's, etc. were all compatible with the MS compilers, and vice versa. The only unexpected problem i had was discovering it was dead one day by looking at the MW site to see if anything new was going on. :(

Everyone I know said that their x86 compiler really sucked anyway. Lots of weird unexpected problems. We had a copy here for a while. Sort of gave up on it since we never got a request for a x86 CW library and because it was a rather painful experience compiling for it.
