Full text search of XCode User Guide not working

  • Subject: Full text search of XCode User Guide not working

Does any one else have the ability to search the full text of the XCode User Guide from within the XCode 2.1 documentation window? It seems there was an issue with an early version of XCode only searching the release notes, but I've found a mailing list reference to that issue being resolved. However, that's exactly the same behavior I'm currently seeing - no references to the HTML files from the user guide appear in the search results, only references to the release notes. I've reindexed the documentation library with the "pbhelpindexer" tool, but the behavior hasn't changed. And the search results are the same whether the whole "Reference Library" is selected in the search groups pane or the "Xcode Help" item is selected. All other searches work as expected. This makes it a pain to find help with XCode project settings without having to browse through the user guide to find them.

Thanks,
Brock Brandenberg
