Incomplete Accelerate.framework in MacOSX10.3.0.sdk

  • Subject: Incomplete Accelerate.framework in MacOSX10.3.0.sdk

I just ran into the issue described in
http://lists.apple.com/archives/xcode-users/2005/Feb/msg00128.html

Apparently it is a known bug that has yet to be fixed months after it was reported. Is there a viable workaround?

Looking at the other SDKs present, I see that the 10.2.7 and 10.2.8 SDKs depend only on libSystem.B.dylib whereas 10.3.0 and 10.3.9 also depend on lib{vMisc,vDSP,BLAS,LAPACK}.dylib. In addition, 10.4.0 depends on libmx.A.dylib. Lastly, 10.4u adds a dependency on libgcc_s. 1.dylib.

My guess for a workaround would be to just copy the dynamic libraries from the 10.3.9 sdk into 10.3.0. Does that seem like a good idea?
