"file pane" as the project window? Ah... that works for my .c

I don't know how many people would do this but I do this quite
often using the other environment:
open HIView.h, open the Find dialog... type the word I want to find
(let say "content"), do a Find All... then I can easily find the
constant I was thinking about: kHIViewWindowContentID.
so I guess there's no way to do this in XCode?
Besides "in project", and "in selected", you can also search in open
documents - that should do it for you, in a way. You should also
check under the "options" button, you can configurate a number of
things there.
