Scripts menu (repost)

I thought this would've been asked before, but I couldn't find it in the archives.

Xcode's scripts menu. I've read through the docs and didn't find a conclusive answer. Is it possible to leave everything in "/Library/ Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools/" just the way it is (specifically StartupScript and Scripts/), but add my own scripts by putting them in the same path relative to my home folder (~/Library/ etc…)? I've tried a number of things and I either get just the stuff from my folder or just the stuff from the root folder (/Library/etc…).

I'd rather not have to copy the default stuff from the root folder into my home folder, because that really defeats the purpose of having stuff in the root folder that might get updated in the future. Seems like there must be a way to simply add custom content to the menu without replacing all of it or duplicating the default files.
