Project conversion oddities

I just converted an old .pbproj in Xcode 2.2. The new .xcodeproj doesn't look quite right, although it does appear to build the product correctly. In the project's settings, the product name and many other things are not listed as being set there. There are 2 targets, All and MultiAdPDE.plugin.

When I Get Info on the All target, the General pane lists 1 dependency; MultiAdPDE.plugin. The Rules pane has no rules and none can be added. This target might be an aggregate target, though I'm not sure why it needs to be here. There are no other panes except Comments.

When I Get Info on the MultiAdPDE.plugin target, the General pane lists no dependencies. There are no other panes except Comments.

So where is the Product Name setting stored? If I open project.pbxproj in a text editor, PRODUCT_NAME is there in many locations. Is this project completely hosed? I was going to create a brand new project, but I don't see a template for PDE plugins. The code uses the CF stuff, so would it be a CFPlugIn Bundle? If so, which one? One is listed under the Bundle section and another is under the Loadable Bundle section.
