Does anyone know of a C function to capture the screen like Pico, vi, etc does inorder to display a text file?

I know that I could use curses, but I think I read that doesn't run on OS X.

This would be on topic on the darwin-dev list, or perhaps unix-porting.

That said, you may want to look at /usr/lib/libcurses.dylib and /usr/lib/libncurses.dylib (the former is a symlink to the latter) before you decide to trust whatever it is you read. :)

Hope this helps,
Eric
