Finding Files Buried in Groups

Finding Files Buried in Groups

After a couple aborted attempts I'm back at trying to get my largest CW project over to Xcode. This project has many nested groups. Unfortunately Xcode can't convert it for me so I'm building it manually picking up where Xcode quit. I've succeeded in compiling my project but I'm failing to link with a bunch of duplicate definition errors. Apparently I dragged a source file into the project twice into different groups (why is this even possible?). Unfortunately I can't find the incorrect copy of it. How do I locate a file in an unknown group without manually opening every group?
In CW I would switch to the project's "Link Order" list and use type- ahead to locate my file, touch it, go back to the file list and look for the group that contained something that needed to be built. Unfortunately in Xcode the little hammer, error, and warning icons don't seem to be used for groups (in CW they would summarize the contents). I suspect this will be a major inconvenience for me. My project contains dozens of groups nested so that I can view the whole thing without scrolling the project window. I generally only open the ones I'm working on, using the summary of the others to keep track of my project status. Is there any way to turn this on for groups? For example, how do I get the hammer icon displayed for a group that contains one or more files that need to be built, or get the warnings field to display the total number of warnings for all items in the group?
Also, I can't find anything equivalent to CW's "Link Order" list. How do I control the order files are linked in? Is there any way to get a flat list of all the files in a project?
Thanks,
