gcc vtable layout compatibility with COM

My company is considering moving from CodeWarrior to XCode. Our product
works with MicroSoft Word via OLE on the Mac.

Does anyone know if the gcc c++ compiler generates objects with v-tables
compatible with OLE/COM?
